pride and prejudice

Pride and prejudice is one of the books that written by Jane Austen.The romantic love story happende between a wealthy man Darcy and a witty girl, who come from a shallow family.

They are so alike that they leave both other very bad first impression. They are too pride to admit their mistake and firmly hold the prejudice against other. However, they are fall in love after a series of  misunderstandings. 

The pictures in this movie are nice, and the adaptation fully demonstrate the theme of the famous book. It's a happy ending movie with some thought on marriage and love. I recommend it. 

Man In Black movie review

There was a series movie which totally have three different sets, every sets came from different age. That was the American science action movie --- Man In Black. I think most of you viewed these movies before, but, today I want to introduce on of my favorite set in this series movie which called --- Man In Black II.

In summary, the whole movie was displaying around 2 genius MIB agents --- Jay and Kevin who have mission to monitor and prevent some super nature creature's dangerous activities on earth. 

The abstract of the movie is that Kevin was the hero of the MIB, whereas, he decided to change to his former live to leave his seat to the new blood. Because of the last mission, Jay have to find out Kevin and regain his memory. Later, Jay and Kevin work together and successful prevent the Serleena who wants to stop the Kylothian queen to go back to her planet.....

I like the movie very much, not only it's amazing plot, but also a lot of high technology weapons appeared in the movie. Actually,  I already watched the movie when I was a boy and it makes me think a lot, eventually, I especially wanted to be a scientist when I was in the middle school in China. I even designed lots of shapes of future weapons and space ships and prepared to completed the models of my design by using different materials. However, finally, I failed because I still stand by thinking instead of experience. So, this function as a deep impact on my future academic major option.    

So, in a word, I highly recommend this movie not only the nice performance of the whole structure, but also comes from my personal aspect. Thumb up!  

Garfield: (the movie)

        <<Garfield>>is a famous Disney movie. Garfield is a orange color, and likes to eat humar's food fat cat. He doesn't likes Monday,but he likes Tuesday just because it is not Monday. He likes to eat Pasta and enjoy teasing Jon's another pet, a dog whose name Odie. Actually Garfield's character is more likes human than a cat. He is selfish, lazy and self-love. But he still has some responsibility. Such as in the first movie, he save Odie from some baddie who are try to use Odie as a tool to earn more money, even though in that time, he is not like Odie very much. <<Garfield>> is so pupolar in the world, there are so many people love Garfield because they think something Garfield said ,it can express their idea. Everyone will have some discontent to other people, maybe is your boss,client, but when they face to social, all they can say is: I have no idea, i am not Garfield cat!

Transformers 1 (spoiler)

 Transformers is a really famous cartoon and the director Michael Bay made it to film in 2007. This movie talked about a high school boy Sam bought a car but he didn't know it's actually a alien robot and this robot changed his life. When he went to university he found his car has a group which called transformers and they find allspark but Megatron want to get allspark too. So they start a war and Sam need to face this challenge, Finally he helped transformers to save the earth. This is a action and Sci-fi movie. The robot is really vivid and the most important is that Megan Fox acted Sam's girlfriend. She is my favorite actress.

<The Pursuit of happiness>Today I will introduce a movie. This movie made in 2006. It is the story of a play.The story about a famous investor in America. His name is Chris Gardner. It is said that how to pursuit dream when he in difficult position. Like his life left him, he had no money, no house, no job, he need to look after his son, but he had a dream to be an stock financial investor. In the end, he was succeed.Why I love this movie, the reasons as follow: 1.leader's belief and tolerance: Although he was faced with difficult position, he still gave others belief and hopeless. He and his son lived in the very dirty toilet.2.Honest: Nobody can stop him to pursuit his dream. He said this words to interviewers:"I am the type of person, if you ask me a question, and I do not know the answer. I am goon to tell you that I do not know, but I bet you what: I know how to find the answer, and I will find the answer." I think the honest is the most important quality in the world.3.alone and confidence: He said to his son:"Do not ever let somebody tell you : you can not do some! not even me, all right? you got a dream ,you gotta protect it. people can not do something themselves, they manna tell you, you can not do it. if you want something ,go get it, period."He remind me how to pursuit my dream and protect it! This is a very good movie to encourage me work hard everyday!

Hush Hour

I think most people know this movie and especially chinese people, because of Jackie Chen who is well-known action star in the world. His movies along with I grew up, because of Jackie Chen I knew a one funny American star who is Chris Tucker. This movie combines muti-elements which are funny conversation, fighting, and exciting action. The movie already released three series which age are 1998, 2002, 2008. It tolds about two different countries' policements how to build up their partnership, friendship, and investigate and strike the gangs.

These three series of movies I already watched more than three times! I hope you gays watch them immedately if you do not have watched yet. These are very classic movies, and I very sure you will have a good time and enjoy this movies!

Become Jane

   In her short life, Jane Austen wrote six of the greatest novels. But neither she nor her sister ever married. She didn't welcome a man like Darcy in Pride and Prejudice to shake hands with forever. It doesn't mean that she never met one to fall in love with.

   In 1796, on a family gathering, Jane Austen met the lawyer Tom Lefroy for the first time. He was handsome, smart but totally depended on his uncle economically. He and Jane found many common interests and also personalities which undoubtedly aroused lots of disputes between them. As an independent woman at that time, Jane didn't like other girl who wanted the man with the best price. She wanted the one with passion and affection. Therefore, between Tom and Mr. Wisley, a reserved man with a lot of fortune, she incurable fell in love with the former one. However, strong opposition from Tom's uncle destroyed his hope.Lack of money forced him to get engaged with another girl to support his family. But the heart always tells the truth. After he determined to leave everything behind and  run away with Jane, it was Jane who understood the gap between dream and the fact. Both of them had family to support and reputation to maintain. She knew how important Tom was to his family. Using her regrets to exchange for the peace and happiness of Tom and his parents, that's worthwhile.

    This film is created depending on only two letters between Jane and her sister, and some evidence emerged years later after her death. It’s actually a mystery that what Jane Austen’s life really was. Was her experience the source which inspired her of the masterpieces, or only her imagination? Whether or not,it is acknowledged that her fabulous virtues and independent spiritual belief made her characters alive like they ever walk into your heart.

The Hunger Games

The Hunger Games is  the film adaptation of Suzanne Collins' best-selling novel. Although I haven't read this novel, I am so excited to see it because of its famousness through American culture recently.
At the beginning of the story, the 12 poor and starveling districts really need support of enormously wealthy Capitol. To have this help, each district must supply a tribute that a young woman or man for reality television series. These 24 people must fight to the death in a poisonous forest where have a lot of hidden cameras to capture their actions and people in Capitol can see and bet with this game.
Actually, I feel bad when people treat people like a toy in a game. It is vey cruel and hearttless when the death of people is a game of others. People kill each other only because of bread and butter. However, in the donounemt of the movie, love between of two main characteristics wins everything. It makes all of people have full of emotions and makes the game end with happiness. Finally, at least I feel satisfied with this ending :)

Ghost Rider movie review

Today I will introduce a new movie which called "Ghost Rider". This movie is a series movie followed with two collections. I watched the first one. 
This a 2007 American super hero film.. The plot of this movie was happened around the ghost rider --- Johnny. Johnny engaged the motorcycle performance in a amusement park with his father. One night before johnny decided to escape with his girlfriend --- Roxanne, he has known that his father had a lung cancer which already separated to all body. At that moment, the death appeared, and offering to heal his father's disease in exchange his soul. Johnny signed on the deal. After that, Johnny was scared from his dream. He finally found that totally was a dream, but , the behavior of his father surprised him. His father just looked like a man full of energy, nobody will believe that his father was a cancer patient last night. Unfortunately, his father died followed by a performance accident in a short time. Johnny knew that The death killed his father. He began to escape from the death, whereas, he was cattched by the death. The death brainwashed Johnny's all memory include lover, family, and everything in his mind. Roxanne disappeared and deeply broken heart when Johnny rode across her, even face to face. But, she didn't know that Johnny already had a brainwash by the death. Later, Johnny became a occupational motor rider and Roxanne became a reporter. In an accidental chance, they met with each other again, and Johnny recognized Roxanne's face. When the time they will make pease with each other, the death appeared again and changed Johnny's look to a ghost rider shape. After that, there always had some supernatural things occurred in the city which is the fighting trace that Johnny battled with some evil monsters..... In the final of the movie, Johnny defeated the biggist monster and successful saved his girlfriend. 
I have to say this is a nice movie which combined lots of part of senses together., and you can figure out lots of minor products appeared under this series movie, even include video game. Overall, I will double thumb up for this successful movie!

The Count of Monte Cristo

The Count of Monte Cristo-- a story of revenge for justice.

        After seeing The Count of Monte Cristo(2002) for a second time, I came up with a strange idea that this movie is  a combination of Wuthering Heights, The Great Gatsby and The Shawshank Redemption! Jim Caviezel plays Edmond Dantes who then becomes Monte Cristo to revenge all the people that hurt him before and Guy Pearce plays Fernand Mondego,Edmond's former best friend who betrayed Edmond for jealousy. Together, these two shine.
         Unlike the Heathcliff in the Wuthering Heights who goes almost insane for his inhumane revenge, Edmond Dantes goes on his revenge slowly and elegantly, by which I mean those revenges are all within the limit of laws and he reciprocate the people who helped before he takes on his revenge. One similarity between this film and the Wuthering Heights is that they both use their enemy's son for part of the revenge. Like Gatsby, Edmond's beloved Mercedes(Dagmara Dominczyk) married Fernand Mondego when he was away (in Chateau d'if prison), while he come back 13 years latter and become a really rich count. In the prison, Edmond met the priest(Abbé Faria) who taught Edmond to write and use sword. Like Shawshank, he digged the tunnel, too, and then miraculously ran away from the prison.
          For my overall view of this film is that you can see many de javus of other movies, but the adaptations in the film is so good and so smooth that you can't easily discern what they are. After all, this film is based on the 1844 novel by the same name written by Alexandre Dumas, whose work inspired thousand of lately authors. So if you want to see why the Count of Monte Cristo is similar to Wuthering Heights, The Great Gatsby and The Shawshank Redemption, go and see it, you won't regret! Thumbs up for this good movie, which makes me want to read the original book!

Cross Your Heart

A boy named Russell had a great dream. He wanted to be a explorer and found the dreamland paradise fall. When he met the little girl who also wanted to be a great explorer, he thought he found his friend. But she didn't believe him and ask him to cross his heart. And he did it. Then they became good friends. And she shared her book(My Adventure Book) with him. Then the story of the old man Carl began. He grew up together with his wife Ellie. They had the same dream---find the paradise fall. They got married with each other when they grew up. And they didn't give up their dream. They began to save money. But bad things happened one by one, they uesd all the money they saved. Unfortunately, they didn't have a baby. As time went by, Ellie became a old lady, and Carl was also as old as a grandfather. They went to the small hill again and Ellie could not climb quickly anymore. Then the old woman died. Carl was very very sad. And he became liverish, he could not get alone with others. But one thing that never change was his love. Ellie left two things, house and My Adventure Book. So Carl decided to keep these two things forever. He tired his best to protect their house and all things in the house. Back to Russell, he was just a little boy. When he knew Carl would travel by his flying house, he came and wanted join Carl. And he cross his heart again. When Russell met Carl at the first time, he introduced himself:"Good afternoon. My name is Russell. Are you in need of any assistance today sir?""No.""I could help you cross the street.""No.""I could help you cross your yard.""No.""I could help you cross your porch.""No.""Well, I gotta help you cross something.""No, I'm doing fine." When they slept outside, Russell asked:" Can Kevin go with us?""All right, he can come.""Promise you won't leave him.""Yeah.""Cross your heart." After several seconds, Carl said:" Cross my heart." At last, Carl lost his house and he said :" You know, it is just a house." Finally, he realized that it was their love to keep he and Ellie together, not the dream. When Carl read My Adventure Book again, he noticed that the last half of the book was not empty. Ellie put the photos of their whole life in the book. And at the last page, she wrote "My adventure is meet you". Ellie had already understood the most important thing of their love. Russell said I gotta help you cross something. And finally he helped Carl to CROSS HIS HEART!

Twilight Breaking dawn

     It is not my first time to watch this movie. I am a faithful fans for <<twilight>>. Actually, I have  some expect for<<Twilight 4-breaking dawn>>, because in the end of the <<twilight3>>, Victoria was appeared in the party when Bella and Edward were dancing. It left a very tense suspense.But we did not see any plot about it in <<breaking dawn>>. But in this movie,Edward's actor Robert Pattinson had a lot of progress in his acting.In the first three words, the author did not focus too much on the role of Edward, but here,we have seen his superb acting. whether he and Bella affectionate lens,or when he wants to protect his wife's life but it needs to immolate their child that complex emotion. <<Twilight>> is a movie about love and appropriation, love and immolate,love and forbear.It can teach us what is love and how to love. so my option is thumbs up!

New Year's Eve

      Are you exciting to receive a new year's coming? What will you do on that special time. Stay with your family or friends to celebrate it; Kiss with your sweeter or do something crazing?  We can saw all of those polts in this movie. I am not a groupie, but i still feel awesome that so many suit stars with you have the New Year. On the New Year's Eve, people who comes from different place assemble in the Time Square to celebrate new year's coming. This movie is very warmful. Just like the <<voluntine Day>>,it is the another movie about love. Different people and different stories in this movie. Some of them are going to dead alone; some of the them are try to compound with their X-girlfriend;someone must deal some big problem which involved with the big celebrate in Time Square-the ball... But it seems every story about love all has a perfect ending. Everything goes well. what means New Year? "it is a time to foegive someone, give second chance, to do better, to do more, to give more, to love more. And to stop worrying about "what if" and start embracing what will be. When the ball drop in the midnight, let us nice to each other.kind to each other.

Geek Charming

    <<Geek Charming>> is a Disney new movie. It is a story about a girl who wants to win the campus Blossom Queen. The leading actor in this movis is Dylan Schoenfield who is pretty, rich and outgoing.There is no trouble that she was a star in her school. For the different purpose, she and a boy whose name is Josh Rosen began to cooperate a movie. Dylan wants use this movie to disseminate herself, then to win this competation. Josh wants to through this movie to join their school movie competation. Then the story was begining.
     <<Geek Charming>> is a traditional Disney Movie. It was continue the Disney movie style. The actors in the movie always someone who can attract more attention. There are some popular figures or some strange or special character person. They will have some experience and finnaly they always can fall in love with each other. This traditional Disney style is also appeared in this movie. If you are a fan of Disney Movie, it's a good choice to watch it. Let us enjoy real Disney style. Thumb up!

Mr&Mrs Smith

      What will you think when people are talking about couple? Sweet, honey or argument? No no no, these words are out. If we can use one word to describe <<Mr&Mrs Smith>>, I think it is cool; two words is super cool. Professional killer, it is a cool career. They both are the Professional kill, but the most amazing part is they do know it. After they got married 6 years, their marriage becomes very peaceful and boring, even the psychology doctor can not help them. This situation until one day when they found they are the kill target for each other. It makes their couple family renew some enthusiasm.
   After I watched this movie, I will think if it's me, will i told my mate my real career? Maybe I don't will. If he just a general man, it will be scared him. It sounds good, but it only can be occured in the movie. Anyway,<< Mr&Mrs Smith>> is a good hollywood action movie. It can take you to feel the special couple life. Thumb up!

HUGO(Spoiler Alert)

This movie talked about a little boy who lost his father lived in a train station and helped a old movie director. Hugo is an orphan boy living in the walls of a train station in 1930s Paris. He learned to fix clocks and other gadgets from his father and uncle which he puts to use keeping the train station clocks running. The only thing that he has left that connects him to his dead father is an automaton (mechanical man) that doesn't work without a special key which Hugo needs to find to unlock the secret he believes it contains. On his adventures, he meets with a shopkeeper, George Melies, who works in the train station and his adventure-seeking goddaughter. Hugo finds that they have a surprising connection to his father and the automaton,and he discovers it unlocks some memories the old man has buried inside regarding his past. At last , Hugo finds that George Melies was a movie director and helped him to find his memories again.

In this movie , Hugo's brave and insistence is easy to touch audiences. And he is a kind heart boy. This movie won a lot of Oscar award and is really worth to watch it.

intouchables

This movie is about friendship between two intouchable man. One is a man with disabilities, the other is a black man. These two kinds of people may be seems intouchable to the society. However, they developed an touching friendship.
You can see a lots of differences between them. One is rich while the other is poor, one is highly educated while the other is not. Nevertheless, magic happened. They are incredibly suit for each other.
They find their passion for life again and fix the problems  for their lifetime partner.

         The Chinese name of this movie is very confusing that many people would mistake it as romantic movie.However, it's totally not. Confessions is a movie about revenge. It tells a story about how a mother revenge the killer for her beloved daughter. It's a movie that has won many awards and it is adapted from the book. Actors are great, not only the teacher but aslo students. After you finish watching the movie, you will feel relieved.
You will see how a woman fight for her daughter and successfully win this battle.

Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows

I think this name is very familiar from everyone, exactly this movie is recompose the famous novel- Holmes. Do you ever want to become a very smart, flexible, logical, and good fight man or sherlock? This movie can totally satisfy your feeling, and experience. It will be happening many you can not think and see things that make you feel so exciting, and your boold will flow faster!

I totally focus on this movie and it gives me never had exciting before! I had chased this first edition before that made me wanted to know anything after will happen. Right now, I finish the second series of this movie. If you want to watch it, I am very recommend this movie!

To Kill A Mockingbird

Really excellent movie for you this week. It is kinda special. It is a adpated vesion from a very famous novel in 1970s. I have been deeply touched by the character Atticus Finch in the movie. I cannot help myself admiring him during the whole movie. It mainly talks about a big issue---Discrimination in the United States. Although the movie is not as long as usual but I enjoy all the time when I watch it.

Atticus worth admiring is because he is a good father of Jem and Scout. It is Atticus that has taught his children never look down upon black people only based on their different appearances and skins. It is Atticus that has taught his children never comment on a person only if you have considered from his point of view. It is Atticus that has set great example to his children always to be bold enough to fight against the evil power which has taken control of the majorities’ the minds and souls.

Atticus worth admiring is because he is an excellent and responsible lawyer who devoted himself to the tough job. It is Atticus that has stood out and defended Tom Robinson when no more than 10 people in Maycomb county believe him is not guilty. It is Atticus that has actively maintained the right of a widely-considered guilty black man during that discrimination emerging time. It is Atticus that has been on behalf of the blacks giving address to advocate the black peoples’ fair rights in the USA.
Atticus worth admiring is because he is a holy savior of mankind’s humanity. Never thinking about his own interest and safety is the most shining advantage of Atticus in the movie. Lee sets such an ideal and successful character in the novel expect to help people understand more about how miserable and cruel the whites’ have done to these innocent black people. Why shouldn’t the society view people with fairness and just?
Always, don’t be a coward confront the fact!

 This movie is an old one and its  director is very famous , Luc Besson. It tells a story between a middle aged man, Leon and his neighbor, Mathilda. You may find this little girl look familiar, she is the actress  in the movie<<Black Swan>>.
Leon is a professional killer who never killed woman and children. He is naive in his heart, a little strange maybe. His neighbor one day get killed while Mathilda go out to buy cigarette. Leon saved her and adopted her. She began to live with this man.

 This part is very warmhearted, you see two people talk and play. One day the tragedy happen, Mathilda trying to revenge the man who killed her family. However,this man is from police. Leon knows that peaceful life is  going to break, he told his old friend to take care of Mathilda and she can inherit all the money he earn.Finally, when those killers go and find them, Leon pushed Mathilda to go away and promise he would come later which never make it.


I love the story, no matter what kind of emotion happened here, it's warm. Actors greatly present the roles they are in. The music  also suit the theme very well. <<The shape of my heart>>. I strongly recommend this movie and the music.

         This movie is adapted from a famous book. Holly and  Gerry are a couple, they live happily , though they don't have children and they are not rich. However, Gerry died of brian cancer. Holly's life suddenly became dark. Her two best friends, her sister and her mother trying to get her in to normal life. On her 30Th. birthday, she began receiving letters from Gerry thought all kinds of strange ways. And at the end of these letters, there would definitely be PS: I love you. Those letters became her souse of feeling Gerry is still there. Gerry gave her all kinds of suggestions like changing jobs, follow her heart and going back to his hometown where they first met. He even arranged the place and told her best friends to keep her happy. Holly can't get Gerry out of her mind,  she just can't have normal life, she began to blame him for kept sending her letters. Her two best friends all have their own life, one get  pregnant and the other is getting married. Holly come to find her mother and cry hardly, her mother gave the letter and told it was the last one. Gerry told her it's the time to smell fresh air and get new life without him. Finally, she accepted the truth ,  find her interest and follow her heart.
              It's a touching a movie. You can never know what will get into you. Image if one day your beloved ones just gone away, who can bear that kind of sorrow. However, it's not totally sad movie. You can see their romantic love, the sincere love Gerry gave to Holly. From my point of view, the message this movie trying to convey is that the best love I gave you is not that I own you and want your love back, but I do things good for you and wish you all good. PS is just a remind of that I also cherish you and sincere love you.

Titanic (spoiler alert)

I think nearly everyone has watched this famous movie, recently we can see Titanic 3D in theater and a lot of people prepare to watch it again. Although I haven't watched 3D in theater but watched online still moved me.

Jack and Rose's love start at this famous ship Titanic. Rose doesn't like her stiff noble life and she decided to jump into the sea at one night. Fortunately , Jack found and saved her. Rose found that Jack changed her life and really like her new life. they love each other deeply. Unfortunately, Titanic struck at the iceberg . Finally it sink into the sea. Jack saved Rose again but he died at the end.

Their love moved a lot of people because they can face all of the challenge and defeat it . They love each other more than their own life. This true love can move everyone. This is really a good movie and it worth to go to theater to watch again!

Get Smart

"Get Smart" is a 2008 American comedy movie. The whole story is surrounded a spy mission which is to defeat the terrorist organization---KAOS. Max is an analyst in the American agency control. He expect to become an agenct in control, whereas, his promotion was rejected by chief because Max's ability is best to be used in control. Fortunately, at the next assignment, Max was promoted by chief and he successful became an agenct called agenct 86. In this new assignment, Max have to cooperate with agenct 99 to defeat KAOS and also impede the nuclear weapon. During the assignment, they worked very well and also sparked a lot of funny things. But, after they finished the task, Max was mistrusted as a double agency because of the agency 23 lied to report the truth. Later, we realized that agency 23 was a real double agency. He was assigned by KAOS to hide in the control. At the end of the movie, after Max and agency 99 successful defeated agency 23, they got the "football" and realized that the end key of the music ---"ode to joy" was the fuse of the unclear weapon. So, They rushed toward to the theater and intended to stop the end key of the song. Obviously, they saved the world again. Max also date with agency 99 in the end. 

This is a great comedy movie which have both wonderful humor and perfect ending. I will recommend this movie to you because there was nothing regret after you watch it. But, after I review this movie once and once again, I still have a question about the plot. At the beginning of the movie, if I didn't recollect wrong there was a scene describe a ruined control office. I just wondered who destoryed the core of the control office? Is there just a exercise or there has another reason? 

The soundtrack was wonderful and coordinated very well with the dialog in the movie. I especially like the one rap music appeared in the end of the movie. It's full of passion! 

Le Papillon

Yes, this week's movie for you to share is going to be in French as well. The story happened between an senior and a girl filled with curiosity. Being a daughter in a single-mother family, Ilsa is a kind of tomboy, she was borned to be audacious and boylike. It was also this characteristic that made her special enough than other girls. As the neighbor of Ilsa, the senior lived on the top of Ilsa, he was an expert on collecting different kinds of butterfly specimen. Anyway, what he kept finding was the specimin of Graellsia isabellae, which was a very special kind. One day, when Ilsa's mother couldn't show on time to pick her up back home, the poor girl thought of following the track of the old papa.

Then, the story started on show between them. Both of them began their exploration with an unexpected guest! How would they experience during this special journey? Would they get their goals? What would happen if they are confronted with really big divengences between them?

Go and enjoy it! You will probably get the freely-touched emotion of how to love someone and how to be loved by someone. In addition, how firm faith and promise mean so much to a great and responsible father.

Well,Good Will Hunting is another movie about genius. Will Hunting(Matt Damon) is a young janitor in M.I.T, and he has a great gift with math (actually he seems a genius of all).But Will has some psyche problems,and then he met his "soul mate" Sean Mogurie (Robin Williams), a very thought-provoking psyche therapist. Will got three buddies, of whom Chuckie (Ben Affleck) is closest to him.Surely,in the course of movie Will fall in love with another girl,Skylar (Minnie Driver).

For the first sight of Will Hunting,I recognized him as the leading character in The Talented Mr.Ripley. So no doubt Matt Damon gives a great interpretation of the genius' life. And Robin Willams transformed himself from a cutesy comedian to a profound soul mate,very impressive to me. But what makes this film so great is actually the seamless script.Surprisingly,the script is written by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck,kudos to the two young men !

Notably,there are also criticisms for the overwhelming use of profanity in the movie and many people complained Will Hunting is too unrealistic to be true.But I don't give a damn about that! As one reviewer puts it on IMDb that if all you concerned about the movie is the bad words,you are not listening carefully,there are much more witty philosophies beneath that! In a word,although Good Will Hunting was kind of over-shined by The Titanic in 1997, with the combination of all departments' hard work and the creativity of Matt and Ben,the two Oscar Awards and numerous other awards are well deserved to the film. Thumbs up !

Titanic 3D

First, I'd like to say thank you to Polaris and her host family for taking us to the movie:) Otherwise we would never have the chance to get to see it on the first day it was released.

The main content of movie doesn't change at all from 15 years ago. Yet maybe it's because I have grown up and my perspective has changed, the feelings I got from this movie are much more different than before. Among all the "commercial movie" nowadays, Titanic definitely stands out for its dedicated shots, tightly connected plots and well-written lines. Most people in the theater cried when Jack dies, I didn't. But I do feel sad when seeing people getting on board happily waving to their families and friends without knowing that it was a dead journey.

The movie is good with no doubt. Yet it's not that good as a 3D movie because there were not many shots specifically taken for 3D purpose.

Still thumb up for this movie from 15 years ago.

Black Swan (spoiler alert)

This movie tells us a dancer Nina (Portman) through her hard working to be the most successful swan lake dancer.

Nina is a ballerina in a New York City ballet company whose life, like all those in her profession, is completely consumed with dance. She lives with her obsessive former ballerina mother Erica (Hershey) who exerts a suffocating control over her. When artistic director Thomas Leroy (Cassel) decides to replace prima ballerina Beth MacIntyre (Ryder) for the opening production of their new season, Swan Lake, Nina is his first choice. But Nina has competition: a new dancer, Lily (Kunis), who impresses Leroy as well. Swan Lake requires a dancer who can play both the White Swan with innocence and grace, and the Black Swan, who represents guile and sensuality. Nina fits the White Swan role perfectly but Lily is the personification of the Black Swan. As the two young dancers expand their rivalry into a twisted friendship, Nina begins to get more in touch with her dark side - a recklessness that threatens to destroy her.at last she was successful.

In this movie, you can see a lot of great dance and listen to wonderful music.actors need to act a lot of inside show. it's really hard but really attract audience. All in all it's really a good movie.

3D Titanic

Several years ago there was breaking news on the website for the debut of episode 2 of Titanic. Kate and Leonardo would continue to join the movie. People like me filled with fancy thoughts were eager it for months until someone stood out to refute the rumour. But this time, after elaborate preparation for two years, the original director James Cameron invites audience with a renewed titanic journey. Only this time you need to put on the 3D glasses, experiencing the refulgence and submerge authentically.
On April 10, 1912, the luxury ship Titanic started its first voyage from Southampton in England to New York together with its fame- "the miracle of the world industrial history". 19 years old girl Rose got on the first -class cabin together with her mother and fiance. Being hopeless of her wedding and enchained life, Rose decided to end her life by jumping off the ship. Luckily she met Jack, a handsome, special, energetic boy who rescued her from tragedy. Rose found the passion and meaning of life through the time being together with Jack and the seed of love had been growing in their hearts. In the evening of April 14, Rose made up her mind to face the unknown future with Jack instead of becoming a puppet of fame and wealth. But also at this night, Titanic hit the iceberg and was confronted the fate of sinking. This was a moment between life and death as well as to define the power of love.
It's been a long time for our generation to understand this film. We all played mud, screamed about Mc, and were fascinated with Tom and Jerry when Titanic reveal its mysterious veil in 1997. I saw like thirty percent of it through the interspace between mom's fingers. Nothing left but the splendid shape of Titanic and the red hair of young Rose. The second time I was willing to spend these three hours was until my freshman in college, together with three girls (unfortunately). But not until this time did I realize the enchantment of this epic story. The effect of 3-dimention indeed help to win some points though it is not a breakthrough achievement under the pressures of IMAX. The maturity of my mood and what I experienced in real life are the major reasons for the newly comprehensive understanding of this movie: the bound of the life for upper-class at that historical time, the wonderful illusion of treasure in America for Europeans, pursuit of happiness and freedom for Rose and Jack, the sacrifice of these sailors, the captain, the architect, the pastor and the performers. It's more about humanity, courage and big love among people than only intersexual love. Just like the explorer said, he has searching for the blue diamond for years, but only at this moment did he finally reach the real treasure on this ship.
Final point: two thumbs up~~

Blue Streak

Two years ago,  Miles Rogan who is a very skillful and experienced thief that got in trouble by cops when they are stealing a 17 million dollars diamond, he had no idea about the diamond when the cops are going to approach him, he just put the diamond in the building site when the cops catch him. Two years latter, he go out from prison that want to get the diamond back. Unfortunately, the building site are alleady became a Los Angeles' main police station. The only thing he can do is become a cop, and then to take the diamond out. Because of his skill and experience that make him become a very famous policeman in his workplace.

I think this movie is very funny, it presents many diiferent ideas to dercribe Miles, like his action, sound, and personality that makes a lot of funny scenes in the movie. This movie totally is a comedy type, so if you like comedy movie. This is you right choice! thumb up!

"Les Choristes"

When the world has nothing to share with you, when the sun never shines on you, when all the people give up hopes about you, what will you do? Will you constantly complain about the life doesn’t treat you well? Will you fall down to the trough and never stand up again?
“Les Choristes” is one of my beloved French movies stating about a period of unforgettable and life-changing memory of Pierre which are reminded by his enlightened music teacher’s journal 50 years ago. Regarded as the worst children in the world at that time, Pierre and his other friends lived in the Teacher Pipe, hopeless and decadent. Until one day Mathieu was arranged to this special school to be an instructor, all of them started their new lives. It was music such a magic and powerful spirit awaked all the poor children again. This is a film about the relationship between teachers and students, and is also about heart and love. The plot of the film maybe dull or twists and turns, anyway, in my opinion, it is a warm one. Children are too ignorant to well look after themselves. Each of them is different if we view them from different perspectives. As the elder generation, our responsibility can be never too pure but to help them avoid to going astray. It is them who dominate their lives, in addition, it is also us who can guide them with love and hope although the way ahead is full of troubles and challenges.
If you love children, you’d better watch it. If you love music, you deserve to appreciate it. Just as the song goes: (Just small piece here for you to enjoy.^.^)

Really really good movie, thumb up twice!

Wrath of the Titans 2

I have seen the first episode of this movie before with my girlfriend and I fell asleep at the movie theater because it was really boring (But my girlfriend likes it a lot so even though I fell asleep half way, I had to say it was a good movie after that lol). So the reason why I watched the 2 episode is also because of my girlfriend. Still, not surprisingly, a bad movie to me.

The story is simply about conflict happened between brothers, sons and fathers. Though the director has tried hard to make this dull story more attractive to the audience with the combination of special effects, dedicated shots during fightings, his work cannot save the tedious of the story. It would be a totally family drama if it does not happen in the titans age. And some of the shot angle technique makes me feel like watching a Korean movie but not an American one.

Anyway, thumb down to this movie!

We Bought a Zoo(spoiler alert)

Benjamin is a reporter and he has a daughter and son . Unfortunately, he has lost his wife.All of his family miss his wife very much . In a bid to start his life over,then he quit his job and decide to change a new house. so,he purchases a large house that actually is a zoo. This is welcome news for his daughter,she like animals and like to play them. But his son is not happy about it, he miss his friend and don't like this country,he likes city's life. The zoo is need of renovation and Benjamin sets about the work with the head keeper, Kelly, and the rest of the zoo staff. But, the zoo soon runs into financial trouble.However,he is very lucky ,his wife left a lot of money to him. Even so he and his staff still needs to work hard because they must get the zoo back to it's former glory, pass a zoo inspection, and get it back open to the public.Through their hard working, they have a happy ending.

In my opinions, this movie tell us the American family education and love with family members. their true love really move me, and I find huge difference from Chinese and American family education. A lot of Chinese parents can study a lot from this movie. All in one ,this is really a good movie.
