     I am fan of Leonardo Dicaprio. So I have watched many his movies, also his movie was almost very interesting, I never regret after I watched his movie. His interesting movies are Titanic, Inception, Shutter Island and so on. And I watched this movie last weekend. This movie is very famous real fiction movie, so I wanted to watch this movie and I watched last weekend. This movie is story of real character who is frank. He was ordinary boy till 16, but his life was changed after his parents was divorced. He run away from house, and his real life was started. He is very intelligent person man because he cheat everyone just his action and speaking and he , he lived other person as a pilot, doctor, lawyer before his 21^st birthday. His primary technic was defrauding banks using different fake check schemes eventually amounting 2.5 million dollars. It is ver y amazing story and imaginary story, but it is real story. It is very amazing.

 Also this movie have other many interesting things. First, we can watch Frank’s many actions that he lived other jobs, it is very interesting acting fake’s job. He studied his new job to watch movie, television about the job, read a book and he acts realistic. Secondly, he cheats many people who are FBI, woman, airport employee, and so on. And he uses freely the airport by his fake passport but he don’t cheat just one person who is his father because he learned his father many thing and his role is his father. It is so sad. Lastly, he is so worried, he has not identity, he is not himself, he just acts other person as if he is them. And his loving woman betray him after he told he is not doctor, lawyer. And he is lonely because he has called annually FBI who is Carl. Finally, he is captured by FBI. He go to jail to lived 12years. But he comes out just after living 5years because FBI is scouted him. In real life, Frank is president who manages security corporation.

 

 

Snow piercer (2013)

This science fiction movie is based on <Le Transperceneige>, which is French graphic novel series wrote by Jean-Marc Rochette. The story is after the ice age caused by an experiment to solve global warming, the only survivors get on an amazing perpetual-motion engine train and they have already been in this train about 17 years until 2031. In this train, there has very strict hierarchy, locomotive and train tail. The people in the locomotive could have enough food, education and even entertainment. On the contrast, the people in the train tail only have little food, which called protein block made by insects, they live in the limited space. The people in the train tail have tried several times revolution, but none of them successful. And now they prepare enough, they want to try again and get survive chances. So after the introduce, you could guess this film’s topic is imply the stuff about political hierarchy.To be honest, I think this is a good movie because it based on the realistic global warming but detach the truth, which is nobody could create the perpetual-motion engine. And when I saw this movie, I stared at the screen all the time, because I didn’t want to miss any details. Actually, when saw the second time, I found lots of relations between the plot. This film shocks me a lot, but when I saw it second time, there has some goof in it, like two screens cannot relate each other very smooth. So if the full mark is five starts, I will give 3.8 stars.

The Devil Wears Prada (2006)

 This is a very popular film based on the famous book <The Devil Wears Prada>, and this film gets high estimated when it was showing. This movie is about a girl ,who named Andy, want to find a good job but she has to work for a super fashion magazine about one year. It looks like a easy and fashion job, but editor is very strict. Gradualness, she begin to love this job, and she has to make a choose between job, love and friendship. However, different people have difference opinions about this movie. Someone thinks this is a long luxury advertisement, on the other hand, other guys think this a kind of inspirational movie. Anyway, I like this film, because my favorite actress is Anna Hathaway in it.

This movie let me know two things. The first one is care about you more than before. Because you might think nobody would realize any details about you, but they did. There has a very special scene in it, when the first time Miranda meets Andrea; everything is all right until Miranda glances at Andy’s ugly flats, and Miranda’s face just like sees something disgusting. In Miranda’s eyes, Andy is not finish enough so she has a little bit look down on Andy. Actually, I think sometimes we also need brush ourselves up whatever we at home or go outside. This is a kind of life style, and it’s a good way to show respect; make everyone feel better. The second thing is make sure your goal and try best to achieve it. Last semester, which is the first semester I came here, I really have tons of homework and I have no idea how to finish it. I complain it to my friends. But finally, I found it didn’t work at all. The only way to solve is finish is as soon as possible. In the movie, Andy looks like work very hard but still can’t get her boss satisfaction. Until one day, her friend tells her that she never ever work hard because she doesn’t want to be fashion and just complain the work. And he tells she that being crazy about fashion, know what boss wants she do.All in all, this is a fashion and luxury movie can make you excited, and this is the best medicine when you get trouble in work or study. And I want to give 4 stars to this movie. 

the Shawshank Redemption (1994)

This is a very famous and classic movie, which won the Oscar for seven nominations but due to less than Forrest Gump and loses awards. After I saw this movie, I think this movie as well as the Forrest Gump and it impressed me a lot. This film tell us a story about a young banker was wronged into prison and stayed in the prison almost 20 years, during that time he know that someone had evidence could improve he was wronged but this guy was killed by the warden. However, he did not give up, and he escaped from prison at a rainy night. 

There are some things impressed me especially. First of all, freedom in Andy’s mind and never ever disappear. In this film, there has a line, “first you hate them, then, you get used to it, enough time passes…you get so, you depended on them that is institutionalized”. That’s true because Brooks get used to live in prison and even want to heart someone to stay in the prison. When he out of prison, he miss the live in the prison and don’t know how to reintegrate into society, finally he choose died.  Actually, almost criminals have already lost freedom in the mind because of time and jail system.  This called institutionalized. But Andy never gives up freedom even though he has in the prison nearly twenty years. He plays 《Le Nozzle di Figaro》make criminals feel freedom. He also makes a deal with jailer to get some beer for friends because he wants to wake up their lost sense of freedom and make them feel at home.  The most important and unbelievable thing is Andy used a little tool to get the escape passage. And Red told Andy if he wants to use this tool to get passage at lease sixty years, but actually Andy only use twenty years. Second, satire impressed me a lot.  Jailers should have equity, but they didn’t. They just give vent to prisoners and use them to make money. The most ridiculous thing is jailers, incarnation of justice; they can kill any prisoners to building their benefits if they need. Last but not least, Andy makes the value of life became meaningful. Although he is in the prison, he still tries to do some things to prove his existence. For example, he handles various tax issues for jailers and is asked to launder money by wander.  

All in all, this film teaches me never give up and never lose dream. In my opinion, this is a wonderful movie, I want to give 4.8 stars to this movie.

Beautiful Mind (2001)

            Have you ever heard of John Nash? He was awarded with Nobel Prize in economic part because he came out with theory that challenged Adam Smith’s theory. However, this movie is based on true story of John Nash. He got into Princeton as one of genius during that time. His dream was working for government to keep in check of USSR but he didn’t have any accomplishment to work for government. To get a government job, he came out with new theory that challenged Adam Smith’s theory. He got a government job that he wanted but everything has to be a secret because it involved USSR and USA. He got married with beautiful wife but at the same time he was threaten by USSR agent because he was interpreting every single secret code from USSR. Since his family’s safety was threaten, he decided to quit his job but he was unable to quit. There is big turning point of this movie but I will not mention it because movie will get ruined if I do. I watched this movie on my computer because I am business major. Since my major is business, I heard about John Nash’s theory but did not know how it came out. But after watching this movie, I could know how John Nash came out with his theory and why he published that theory. This movie was very fun and it was really realistic since it was based on true story.

Identity (2003)

        This is my favorite American movie which is Identity. This movie is told group of three American reversal movie in Korean involved Usual suspect, Saw. And I like this genre movie is thriller and reversal. This movie is the best reversal movie. So I introduce and want to write down review. This movie's director is James Mar gold who received a golden globe award. And main actors are john Cusack who is retired cop acting main character, Ray Liotta who is a doubtful cop acting rival, Amanda Feet who is typical woman main character. Their acting was excellent as if they are real story, so I can concentrate well. And scenario is 10 people was gathered at external motel in storm day. They waited next day but they was killed one by one. And other scene exist, other mysterious place. And the poster is very important, If you will see the movie, you can understand the poster's meaning. Finally, I want to say The Secret lies within. Identity is a secret. Identity is a mystery, Identity is a killer. This movie is different other movies. Firstly, this movie is not guess the last scene. The movie is ended, another scary is started.  Secondly, this movie have a two story. One story is main story which happens incident in motel, another story is sub story which is at a hospital.  Thirdly, this movie has reverse and next, also has a reverse. It is reverse of reverse. If you watch the movie, you will know. If you know the reverse, you must watch Identity.

 I recommend strongly.

Enjoy American Culture and Comedy Easily!

         Monster with blue fur with purple spots, Sully, is the best temple. Sully 's best friend and roommate, Mike, is a petite little green monster with one large eye. In the Monsters, Inc., Sully and Mike are the best combination to scare the team. Monsters Inc. What's this? The main task of Monsters, Inc. is collecting energy. Monster world's most important energy source is the human screams of children.  Every night, Monsters, Inc. employees are sneak into the human world through closet to children, and they scare them for the world energy supply. It should be noted that monsters are avoid contact with the children because contacting can cause fatal infections in monsters. One day, Sully and Mike make the mistake of lifetime that is invasion of human little girl who is Boo. She comes through the unclosed closet door. They try to return Boo to the human world, and solve the problem gently. However, Boo does not afraid Sully. She thinks that Sully is just cute kitty, and fallows Sully. As a result, monster world realizes the invasion of Boo, so it causes big conflict.

The movie, Monsters, Inc., is  a comedy fantasy animation movie genre. This movie has no sing not like Frozen or Pocahontas. Monster, Inc. proceeds with only pure storyline and speech. If people do not like sing in the movie, I recommend this movie. It has no sing. 

        There are three interesting reasons in the movie. First, in the film, I was able to watch many   American cultural codes, such as news broadcasting  way, pronunciation, tone, and commercial film.  Although the film’s background is monster world, It reflects American cultural situations. It is really interesting to me because I could feel American culture in the movie.  

        Second, this film has am impressive graphics technology. Actually, in the present, Monster, Inc. is graduated college student level work. However, in 2001, this film was prime quality computer graphics. At that time, many computer graphic engineers try to express natural moving of fur and water. As a result, in the film, audiences can see natural effects.

       Third, this film is easy to enjoy. In generally, movie is not easy to enjoy because actors and actresses speech is too fast or different tone. Thus, these factors make me hard to understand what they say. Nevertheless, animation is different. Animation film has a clear voice and pronunciation normally, so it is easy to understand.  Moreover, comedic situations make us not boring. Especially, I like Mike Wazowski character because he is kind of anti-hero type character. 

       In my opinion, Monster, Inc. is the best choice as entertainment film. Disney and Pixar film give not only children, but also adults dream and hope. Return your dream and purity by watching this movie!

The Little mermaid

      I have heard about little mermaid story after when I was little kids. I didn't know about it in detail. So I watched it by my friends recommended. Disney made this movie, when I was 1 year old. It is pretty old movie. Surprisingly, most Americans like Disney. Especially, kids like Disney movie, so they are still watching it like an essential movie. The entire story is that when the little mermaid is 16 years old, she can go out of real human world, and then she meets the prince who gets in trouble by storm in the sea. He is survived by little mermaid’s help. So he tried to find her. Also, she likes him, so mermaid make a deal with witch. The little mermaid got legs but her voice was taken from witch. Also, if the little mermaid doesn't kiss with boy, she is going to die. Finally the little mermaid meets with prince. She falls in love with him, so they hang out together. But, prince still misses her who saved him. He didn't recognize the little mermaid saved him. So, he gets marry with another girl who he thinks she saved him. So, the little mermaid almost dies by her curse. But, she survives from her curse by many people’s help. In conclusion, it is happy ending. But, while I watch the movie, its story seems weird. It was little different story what I knew it. When little mermaid wanted to get human’s legs, she wanted to switch with her voice. A witch said, “If you get the legs, your legs will be get pain whenever you walking. So, finally she gets legs. But, this movie didn't describe that part. Also, the little mermaid should have killed the prince for she becomes a normal mermaid. But, just her family and friends helped her. I felt Disney movie make just for children. Anyway, I enjoyed this movie a lot like a child. I am starting to like Disney movies.

This Means War(2012)

     

       Two guys who are Tuck and Franklin are top CIA operative, and they were best friend before they meet one woman. The woman who receives their love is Lauren. She is typically a career woman who has absorbed in her job. She was broke up her X- boyfriend, and she got chance to meet two hot guys. Before Tuck and Franklin meet her, they are they are perfect duo even though their personality is totally different. Tuck was divorced with his wife and he is gentle and mild whereas Franklin is cool and he has known that what things are women like. Because their attraction is too sweet, Lauren meets two guys at the same time, and she is suppose to choice one of them. However, the problem is that Turk and Franklin really want to date with her, and they love her. So they begin to monitor and disturb each other as using their CIS team for get her.

            The reason why this movie is different with any other romantic comedy movies is that this movie combines with the action genre. You have already have seen lots of romance movies. For example, most of characters in the general romance movie fall in love at realistic background. However, this romance comedy movie has special and spectacle scenes. First of all, they use high quality equipment, like heat detector, listing device, to monitor because they are CSI. At the first time, it just Tuck and Franklin’s businesses; however, at the last time, it spread out team’s competition. Maybe this situation will give lots of humors to you.

            The process to tempt to her is very funny; moreover, you can see hot goys action scenes. The end of the movie finally she chooses one man. If you are wonder who is chosen, choose this movie.

When Jake Tyler is transferred to Florida, students have interested about him because of his fighting UCC video. Jake falls in love with Baja Miller who is diva of the school at first sight, and she regards Jake also. At first, Jake has a great time when Baja invite him to the party. However, in fact, the party was secret fight club managed by Ryan McCarthy who is Baja’s boyfriend and best fighter of the school. Ryan proposes Jake to fight for getting the best fighter position in front of students, but Jake is defeated tragedy. After Jake starts to train in the MMA training school, Ryan tries to fight in the Beat Down that is biggest fight club.

The movie, Never Back Down, is action genre movie. The biggest structure of story is main character Jake Tyler’s human growth story. I will talk about most impressive things of the movie. First, there are many roles around of main character as archetypes. Hero is Jake Tyler, and Villain is Ryan McCarthy. Sidekick is Max Cooperman. Wise old man is Jean Roqua who is the training master of MMA. Comic relief is Jake’s brother Charlie Tyler. Those characters make a harmony for consisting of this movie. Second, Never Back Down’s fighting scenes and training scenes are really interesting. In the movie, there are many good people. In particular, men who like a working out might concentrate on the circuit training scenes and fighting scenes. In the scene, Jake undervalues the little man, and he defeats little man. It reminds humility is important. Third, even though the movie has a predictable storyline, connecting speedy deployment and the appearance of tough men allow me not boring during the movie running time. Most action genre movie uses a stunman as professional actions. However, Never Back Down’s actors act themselves.

Never Back Down is fantastic human hero movie with common kind of character. In my opinion, I am sure most man like this movie. I want to recommend to the men who are interested in training or fighting. This movie is best choice for the time killing. More over, I am really astonished because it made great movie by just topic of fighting. However, it has not only entertainment content, but also lesson. In the movie, maybe the director wants to say “Abandon, irritating fighting and obsession to be first class. Do, healthy training yourself.” Sometimes, it is a motivation movie for my hard weight lifting workout.
