Anchoring in Seattle

Anchoring in Seattle is a romantic film. This movie introduces the definition of love. In the movie, Jiajia Wen was an editor for food magazine. She has vision of love that similar with <Sleepless in Seattle> which is filled with fancy and romantic. In real life, she wants to give her baby an American identity that does not come to this world. So Jiajia comes to Seattle for pre-delivery preparation. There is an illegal organization that serves for Chinese mothers pre-delivery preparation or examination. The landlord and other couples do not like Jiajia because they think she always flaunts her wealth, and nobody is willing to communicate with her. Only Jiajia’s driver Frank is willing to talk with her. They met a lot of problems; then they fall in love with each other.

I love this movie because it told a truth is love can change everyone.

FLIPPED

 

     "Some of us get dipped in flat, some in satin, some in gloss. But every once in a while you find someone who's iridescent, and when you do, nothing will ever compare. " Bryce's grandfather told Juli. Because of this sentence I fall in love with this movie. One girl, one boy and one tree, this is a very simple story, but it gives me a strong feeling. Juli is a special girl who pursue Bryce bravely, pure and  have self-respect. In the beginning of the movie, Bryce felt so worry about Juli's like, because a tree he changed the opinion of the girl, and he found Juli was different from other girls. Finally, under the grandfather's encourage, he express his emotion to Juli.

    There has a lot of beautiful dialogue in this movie, such as" A painting is more than the sum of its parts. A cow by itself is just a cow. A meadow by itself is just grass, flowers. And the sun peeking through the trees is just a beam of light. But you put them all together and it can be magic. ","Some days the sunsets would be purple and pink. And some days they were a blazing orange setting fire to the clouds on the horizon. It was during one of those sunsets that my father's idea of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts moved from my head to my heart. "and" Sometimes a little discomfort in the beginning can save a whole lot of pain down the road."

Titanic

     This film is a masterpiece in the history of the cinema. And this is one of my favorite movie. My first time to watch Titanic was in 2004, love is too difficult to understand for a 14- year- old girl, so I didn't have any feelings, moreover there has many scenes in this film my mother can't allow me to watch. Last year, I watched this movie again, and I was deeply moved by it. I was crying at the end of the film, and I know that why the movie was the most famous all over the world.
       

     The music in this movie is also very beautiful. At the end of the film, in the Rose's dream, she walk to Jack, Jack stand on the stair waiting for her. the background music is my heart will go on. At that moment my tears lose in control.
    

    Finally, I have to say the actress in this movie is so charming and the actor is really handsome.

He's Just Not That Into You

     I like this movie because it told girls a truth about love ,which is he's just not that into you. Gigi is a girl who has a lot of illusions about love, but she was hurt over and over. Her friends Beth and Janine always encourage her try to love. Even thought Beth and Janine also have some doubts about love.  They found amount of reasons to explain why the man they love but not contact with them, for instance, he is busy now, he is driving or there must have something wrong with his mobile-phone. Until the bar owner Alex told the truth that he's just not that into you. This truth hurt many girls' heart. Sometime we should completely be honest with ourself, learn how to protect ourself in the feelings. Although the truth is hurtful it is better than cheat.

Pompeii

After the genocide of all riders, and last surviving child growing up were the slaves Gladiators. His name was Milo, and he moved to Pompeii by the owner. Then, he fell in love with the daughter who had a name Cassia of the Lord of Pompeii. However, a Roman Senate was forced to marry her himself. The roman Senate was one of the enemies that genocide of the lack. Milo fought for her and his tribe. At that moment, suddenly the Vesuvius volcano exploded, and many people were tried to escape to live. But, Milo did not escape and found Cassia. They were trying to get away, but already it was too late, finally they were greeted by death.

A volcano and volcanic ashes are a kind of natural disaster, we cannot control a natural disaster like earthquake and flood. Even if we try, we cannot prevent natural disasters such as volcanoes. So, I watched this movie with scared and worried feelings. This movie was made of computer graphic, but it looks like real. When actors fight or run, entertaining sound effects made me more focused on the movie. The falling ashes and actors acting made me such like that I felt like in Pompeii. This movie made me thinking that a natural disaster has great power than people so, it was sad and scared movie. But, there was not much contents and this movie was little short for me. It was little sad.

Cyborg Girl

     

     Cyborg Girl is a romantic film. This movie is very impressive, and it is a beautiful love story. In the movie, main character is a college student, and his life is very boring and nobody concern him. He eats alone, studies alone, and does everything alone. However, everything changed until his 20 years birthday. On that day, he met “her” whom spent a night with him. After that night, that girl disappeared; he tried to find her many times, and that girl appeared in his life again after one year later. The girl told him a secret that shocked him. He knew the girl is a robot, and he made “her” in future for accompany him in that hard period. They live together, and they main character fall in love with her. In the end, the “girl” died for saving main character’s life. This movie is surreal, but it is very impressive.

        This movie originates from a novel and shows the love between Daisy and Gatsby. They fell into love many years ago, but under the pressure of the reality, Gatsby went away to join a war and Daisy married another man, Tom, a very rich noble who inherited a great deal of money from his family. After many years, Daisy and Gatsby met each other again and still stayed together. At this time, Gatsby could give Daisy almost everything she wanted in the word, such as expensive convertibles, amazing private mansion, and countless possession. Daisy ignored her husband and his lover, insisted on getting together with Gatsby. Eventually, Gatsby died for a murder and the love between him and Daisy broke.

        The movie is unique because it inspires people to think about what the true love is, what the real happiness is, and what should be precious most in life. Although no one could live without any money, but money does not mean everything. Love, friendship, and family are more important. The movie’s beginning is very attractive because it described the protagonist by dialogues among other people. Gatsby’s whole information was indirectly introduced until the first time he appeared in the screen at the middle of the movie.

Review of Annabelle

Annabelle is a horror film, and this is my first time to watch horror movie; I was frightened, and that makes me decide never watch horror movie again.

Annabelle talks about a couple and their baby live in a house together. One day, the husband took a doll that his wife tried to find it for a long time, and this doll was called Annabelle. On that night, this couple’s neighbor was killed; and two creepy lunatics attacked them at same time. And then, one of lunatics was shoot dead by police. The lunatics drew a evil pattern on the wall, and held Annabelle when she died. After that accident, some weird things happened in this family.
