Finding Neverland

Surely you know the movie Peter Pan. And maybe you do not know the author and you do not know how was built the story of the boy who would not grow.

Finding Neverland is a movie about the author of Peter Pan, J.M. Barries and how he found the inspiration for Peter Pan.

James Barrie is a playwright. He decides to write a play. One day, while he is in the park he meets Sylvia Llewelyn Davies and her children: Peter, Jack, George and Michael. Barrie and Peter become fast friends.

However, Sylvia suffers a very serious lung disease. Sylvia will soon die.
Thus, Barrie writes a play about the experiences and lives with Sylvia's family. In this book the main character is Peter. The play is a hit with the public. And this play is Peter Pan….

This movie has a great soundtrack. Music is something magical about the movie and transports you to ‘Neverland '. Also, with this film you can discover how was writing the story of Peter Pan.  This is very interesting.

But what is really important in this film are the actors.  The main character, J.M. Barrie, is played by Johnny Depp. He's a great actor and knows how to act very well. Another major actor in this movie is Peter, the boy who inspires Barrie to create Peter Pan. This role is played by Freddie Highmore. He is a little boy, but he knows very well act. One of the best scenes is the final scene when the boy says goodbye to his dead mother. Also in this film it appears Kate Winslet. She is Sylvia Llewelyn Davies, the mother. She makes a very good performance. And when the mother starts to die, she does so very realistic.

You have always seen Peter Pan, but with this film you will discover as was wrote one of the world's most famous plays.
