    The film's several characters are nobodies who struggling in the thirties. Charles Howard, used to be a successful businessman, but unfortunate his family is smashed by his childless when he is middle-aged; Ed Pollard's dream is to be a first-class jockey, but had to fight and struggle in underground in order to live; Tom Smith is good at horses and horsemanship, but there was no one to appreciate him. The fate of the three distress man is turning a corner because an old racing horse named "Sea biscuit". Sea biscuit is a short stature horse, leg also not too flexible. It has been treated as factory seconds and left aside, but his competitive nature and indomitable spirit has not died. The three new owners raised its potential success, let it shine brilliantly in the match.
