NEW YORK, I LOVE YOU

  This move talks about different people, different culture mix together and become a beautiful story. This move consist of  12 short stories all happens in New York.
   We all know about big urban city New York but maybe we don't know people have different dreams  who comes from different place. They met each other in some clubs, the corner of the lights. Because their curious and lonely are attracted each other which happened in one same place--New York.
  One of the most clips that attracted me is an outdated actress want to kill herself at hotel, but a waiter who was her super fans wants to stop her. Finally, the actress alive, but the waiter is her image not a real person.
  If you are a person who loves New York or have a dream. I really recommend this movie to you.

October Sky

What is a successful movie? Wonderful stories, gorgeous screens, spectacular visual effects or obscure thoughts? I think they are all unnecessary. From my perspective, the best movies are those have resonances for audience, inspire people to think about their own life and give their hope and courage, no matter how simple they are. Just as October Sky, it tells a story that a group of boys overcome all kinds of difficulties, accumulate the force little by little to break the cocoon then become a butterfly and finally perfectly fly under the vast and clear October sky, simply but inspiringly.

     October Sky, which was directed by Joe Johnston in 1999, was based on the true story of Homer Hickam, a rocket scientist in NASA. The leading actor is Jake Gyllenhaal who is a famous Hollywood star and has an excellent performance in Brokeback Mountain and The Day After Tomorrow. He is very suited to play an outgoing, innocent but persistent character who has boundless enthusiasm and fantasy. And Homer Hickam is just such character in October Sky.

    The story happened in a mining town named Coalwood, Virginia in 1950's. Homer Hickam, growing up in this small town, was thought to follow his father’s footstep and to be a coal miner for a life time. Future was such a faraway word that would never belonged to him. However, everything changed when the Soviet Union sent the first man-made satellite, Sputnik into space in October 1957. After seeing this wonderful sense, Homer thought his life would never belong to the coal mines and he should not be imprisoned in a coal town. What he wanted was the higher and further sky and to be a scientist to create his own satellite.

    This movie also reflects the American Dream. America is a magic land where is filled with treasures, freedom and opportunities. As long as you work hard and possess determination, persistence and never give up, you can achieve success and realize your dreams.

    October Sky indeed is a wonderful movie. By writing this review, I show my respect and appreciation to Homer Hickam. I will always remember these simple words,“We have a lot of dreams, which ignite the whole sky.” The passion in our hearts will never fade away, and the pursuit of dreams will never be over.

This is a movie describing a rich family has been cursed since long time ago that the new born girl in this family who must be a girl with pig nose. And the only way to break the curse is to get the true love kiss from a man of noble birth.In this movie, female leading role (Penelope) is a kind, brave but self-abased girl. Because of her cursed appearance, she was locked in castle. She is eager to break the curse and get the new life.So her family arranged many blind dates for her which makes her uncomfortable and sad due to  the reaction from people. At the final blind date,she met male leading role(Johnny.Martin) who is the song of a drainer.Although the whole of the movie describes more loving story, we still can see many elements about human.In this movie, the person helping her break the curse is not others just herself.She is brave enough to face to public and accept herself so she says loudly she is herself and she loves herself no matter what she looks like.And she breaks the curse into pieces for herself.Besides, people like the girl who has pig nose when they understand her which is touched me. And from that plot, I can see more kind features of human. Also the movie has a happy ending that is like life. We need to love ourselves although others dislike us.

    Long ago up North on the Island of Berk, the young Viking, Hiccup, wants to join his town’s fight against the dragons. However, his macho father, a leader of the town, will not allow his small, clumsy, but inventive son to do so. Fortunately, Hiccup finds a way to train and make friend with dragon instead of killing dragons. At the end of this story, Island people fight alongside dragons, and Hiccup is finally getting the attention he has long deserved.

       After see the movie “How to Train Your Dragon”, I want to say it is one of my favorite movie. The plot of this movie is simple and easy to understand. It is full of humor and you felt happy and relax, in the meantime you can learn a lot of things from it.This short animated movie just using 100 minutes of stunning images to make a deep impression on the viewers. The superb of DreamWorks is carefully written about the process of the ice, between the dragon was about the human emotional development understatement. And this movie told us that hard to love easy to get along, get along easily break the ice than done. What’s more, I want to emphasize a point which I learned from this film is that by keeping an open mind and open heart, you are open to new experiences and by default with be open to ongoing brain stimulation, and good cognitive health. 

      This movie is great.We should keep pace with the times and keep curiosity about new things. We’ll be better and better, getting stronger and stronger.

IRON MAN 3

It is series of Iron man. The main character is Robert Downey Jr, Tony Stark. He met with strong skepticism about life because of the trauma that occurred in New York. This event occurred in The Avengers, which is Marvel’s movie. In such condition, terrorists appeared and they attacked Tony stark’s house. So they fought.

I watched all series of Iron Man and I like Iron Man 3 better than Iron Man 1, 2. Because so many Iron Man suit appeared in this movie. And the scene that all of iron man suit appeared in one scene is my favorite scene. It was so nice. I like tony stark character. He is very attractive actor. Robert Downey Jr acted Tony Stark and he acted very well. In addition, he is likely to be a real Tony Stark. This movie is a sequel of ‘Iron Man’ and ‘Iron Man 2’ however, the story is set after the events that occurred in ‘The Avengers’. So you had better watch The Avengers. I watched Iron Man 3 before I watched The Avengers, so I couldn’t understand why he had mental insecurity.

“And if I told you that I loved you, you'd maybe think there's something wrong”.  Just like the lyrics say, maybe the relationship between Leon with Mathilda is not love because they are not lovers. Leon is a not a man of too many faces who always wears black clothes. He keeps silence and stays alone with a plant. He says that the plant is friendlier than person, which is always silent like me. The plant never asked me questions. It does not have a home just like me. He is a killer and he died at the end of the film.  Mathilda put the plant under the floor when he died, and she says that we are safe forever. I feel so sad but a little bit warm. Nobody can say the relationship between him and her is love, can they? I have no idea. Maybe that is another special relationship. I am willing to believe this relationship is a kind of love. I think some people have same feeling as Leon. You were hurt by other person, and you did revenge year after year. You want to escape from the real world, and then you never give your true heart to anybody. You are so cold until you meet a warm person.  The most impressive thing about the movie is its story which is basic but is maximized by all the other elements which go into the making of the

    Many films in the past, whether in the light comedy, or heavy subjects, are less pure than the documentary. Especially, a lot of people think comrade as mostly negative images. But all images are just a snapshot of the outside, no particular to really understand the kernel. 

    In this documentary, Shane and Tom make a good couple. Tom died young, and his life is too fantastic. Film rendering technique is quite temperance, does not have a lot of nick, also does not have desirable, deal with it very well. We can see that Shane tells his friends about the love between them, details including how to understand, communication, get along with happy. Until he mentioned the day the incident, tears stream down on the spot bursts.

    Although most of the film are interviews, some photos, and video records, but because the two handsome appearance, this story has been quite exciting. Unjustified, comrade out usually looks nice, maybe it with deep prejudices, but what is undeniable is that this kind of situation has been very common. So, almost no one will argue (don't have to) this is how ordinary romance, or do not have a story.

    Nowadays, It seems comrades are more likely to pay attention to personal appearance, easy to dress more perfect, practice figure and so on. If I ask whether there has any purpose? The answer may vary from person to person.
