Akeem is a prince of Zamnda, where is wealthy country in Africa. He always surrounded servants. When he takes a bath, women washes his body. When he wants to brush his teeth, a man coming to him to brush his teeth. His parents chose a woman to marry Akeem. She says that from she was born, she trains to be a queen of Zamnda, in other words, to be a wife of Akeem. Akeem doesn't want to marry her. Because she always obey him. He wants to know herself, but she always says "whatever you like."
Akeem negotiate with his father to leave country. His father allow him to go New York City for only 40 days with Semmi, Akeem's friend as a servant. They reach Queen in New York and live there. They cover up the fact that Akeem is a prince.

At Queen, they work for McDonalds. First of all, he didn't know even how to use brush. At McDonalds, he met a girl whose name is Lisa. She had a boyfriend, but Akeem and Lisa fall in love. One day, his parents come to New York from Zamnda. They get upset that Akeem works. His father tells truth to Lisa. Then Lisa gets upset because Akeem didn't tell a truth. He go back to Zamnda. At wedding, he is surprised because there is Lisa in front of Akeem. His father didn't tell that His wife would be Lisa! They are very happy.
An ending song "Coming to America" is very exciting song. I like Eddie Murphy. He has very funny
face, but sometimes he acts very seriously. Of course Zamnda doesn't exist in real world. However we can know how rich or wealthy they are. Thus the people in Queen are very poor. They steal Akeem's luggage. In this movie, we can compare the rich and poor.
I like this movie, Stars are five out of five. ★☆★☆★
