Home Alone

Christmas will come soon, so today I will talk about a Christmas movie. Home Alone was popular at its premiere. This comedy became one of the greatest benefits of films with American cinema.

The film stars Macaulay Culkin, John Heard and John Candy in the main roles. The film was released in 1990 and directed by Chris Columbus.

Kevin McCallister is an 8 year old boy lives with his parents in Chicago. His family is planning a trip to Paris to celebrate Christmas. During a family meal, Kevin wants to live alone. The next day, the family will miss Kevin.  And left alone at home. The family is worried about Kevin when they are in the accoutrements. The family decided to return to Chicago, however, no flight. Kevin is happy to live alone. But he has to face two thieves who have stolen many houses, Harry and Marv. Kevin protects his home. And finally, the family will return to Chicago with Kevin.

This movie is a comedy for the whole family. The best thing about the movie is the character of Kevin McCallister played by Macaulay Culkin. When he was a child he was a great actor. He was a fun character, funny and sympathetic. The entire film centers on the character of Kevin, because he is a good actor. However, this film made him on a big star. He won a lot of money. And he became a bad boy. Now he is forgotten Hollywood actor.

Another good aspect of the movie is the soundtrack. John Williams was the compositor. He was nominated for an Oscar, for best music and best song. It is very nice.

If you want to have fun this Christmas time.... you have to see Home Alone.
