The Shawshank Redemption

This is one of my favorite movies. Each time when I feel lost, I will watch this movie. Then I will be hopeful. This movie tell a young banker was framed into killing his wife and his wife`s lover. Then he was sentenced to life in prison. He used his smart banker`s brain and firm faith. At last he escapes from the prison and had a good life.

There no exciting action, no trick and even no beauty in this movie. But I am deeply attracted by this movie. In this movie there is one important thing. It`s hope. Andy can live for 20 years in the prison also by the hope. He ever said “Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things and no good thing ever dies!” But his friend red who is in the prison said” Hope is a dangerous thing. Hope can drive a man insane.” Andy encourages him to believe whatever the reality is so dark, we still need to have hope. At last he is free like Andy. In my opinion Andy will commit suicide without Andy`s inspiring. I love the sea in the movie, for Andy it`s a free, hope and redemption sea.

If you are a man, you must watch this movie. From many rank lists you can see this movie is the first. I believe isn`t a movie can exceed its position in the future. I give this movie ★★★★★.
