GRACE MONACO

  It is a very beautiful story of biographical films which comes from a true story. It mainly introduces the life of Grace Kelly who married into royal family of Monaco. The movie made the dramatic effect through her internal choice between love and dream.The writing from the movie plot, and director of the Grace's outstanding processing, obviously wanted to show women of great love and selfless through a period of history.For the characterization of female inner world with political fragments, more expressive form of art, is the winning point I particularly like, also is to let the "Princess of Monaco" out of the conventional film biography of boring attitude.One the other hand, it describes a changing story of a woman from famous star to a great princess.

This film name is a Nightmare on Elm Street. It’s a classic American Dracula movie. This movie talks about a murder who can kill people in the dream. The film special is that hard to know you are in the real world or in the dream. The director who successful to create a confusing and horrible atmosphere. In the dream, if people killed by Freddy Kruege, they will died in the real world. Everyone hard to escape to the nightmare, they must be dead in the end. However they used a lot of methods, they still sleep and get a nightmare.The murderer is a pitiful people; he was a gardener who works in a kindergarten. He played with children who study in the kindergarten. They like to use red pigment to paint, Freddy Kruege played very happy with children. But when children came back to their home, their parents thought they were maltreating due to red pigment. And children didn’t tell them truth. Their parents were so angry. Then they wanted to bring Freddy Kruege to the police station. But angry parents have a mistake, they fired the gardener. So Freddy Kruege is looking forward to revenge them.
In my opinion, this film is very interesting, I recommend you to see it.

If only

It is a romance movie. In this movie there are two main characters. One is Ian and the other is Samantha who is Ian’s girlfriend. Ian was a workaholic. He putted his work ahead of love. On the contrary Samantha is a romantic person. So she was hurt by Ian. Eventually they fought in the Samantha’s violin concert. Unfortunately Samantha had an accident under his very eyes. Ian was so sad that he couldn’t believe her death. However next day, the day that Samantha was died was returned. So Ian wanted to change Samantha’s destiny. But he realized that it can’t changeable. There is only one day that they can love so Ian wanted to give the best day to Samantha.

I think this movie shows us that people who around us are important and we don’t have to forget importance of them. Today can be the last day that can meet important people to me like this movie, so I should concentrate on each day.

Forrest Gump

      Forrest Gump is a very good movie. We can learn many things from this movie. For example, “Life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get.” Forrest Gump’s mom said. I like this sentence very much. No one knows the next chocolate is sweet or bitter. No one knows what will happen in the next minute. We should work hard on every minute and prepare for everything well.

      Forrest Gump is a man who is an ordinary person. Your might even say, he is not as good as a normal person, because of his low IQ. However, he is a hero in people’s mind. He is kind-hearted, brave, hard-working, loyal and diligent. He treats his friends; family and lover are all very sincerely.

      What’s more, we also can learn American history form this film. In this movie, there are a lot of historical events, such as The Hippie Movement, Vietnam War, Watergate Scandal, and Ping Pong Diplomacy. In conclusion, this movie is worth seeing.

Boyhood

      "Do not need to try everything so hard, let nature take its course. We can not predict the future." Whenever hear this song, I feel so sad. Relative the universe,  human existence seem so small. And the existence of individuals relative to the entire human, just like the human place in the universe. Before we were born, our lives, euphemistically called is master in our own hands, in fact the trajectory of life had been determined. School, work, marriage, birth, raising children, old to go step by step, to most of us, that is life. As the film the girl said at the end of the line, "To grasp the time? I don't know, I'm thinking, on the contrary, mastered we like... time." Yes, we have been mastered by our time. 

      The film showed the growth process of a teenager. From the age of 6 to the age of 18. The director really took 12 years, from the characters was growing up or growing old face, we can see the trace of time. Starring named Ellar Salmon, when filming for the movie, also from the age of 6, step into the age of 18.

      In different stages of life, the movie will have different music. I have to say, each piece of music is so beautiful and appropriate. But what the boy's father had impressed me is that personally playing songs, one is to express his love to his children, another one is in harmony of family gatherings and the chorus. I still remember the two words of the lyrics, “you love too much, will turn into hate. You never leave home, you will never be late.”

Frozen

         The movie, the Frozen, describes an impressive love between sisters. The Queen Elsa has an amazing and fantastic ability to produce snow just like magic but she can’t control this ability when she was playing with her younger sister, princess Anna, and almost unconsciously killed her. From that time, she is alone and when she becomes the queen, she hides herself far away from any human area in her kingdom. However, Anna is trying to find her elder sister all along, and meet a bad man who pretends to love Anna but actually is ambitious to control the kingdom. After taking a series of adventures, Elsa eventually understand how to control her ability when Anna sacrifice herself to save Elsa by a kiss. The ending is that Elsa comes back to the kingdom and Anna finds her true love.

        Unlike many other cartons whose main characters are monsters, animals, toys and so on, the main characters in the Frozen are people – two princesses. The movie uses a traditional story but describes a new meaning and applies great music, 3D technology, and high digital screen to the movie to impress audience.  The music “let it go” is played almost at every corner over the world. The plot that princess Anna sacrifices her life to save her elder sister Elsa leaves me a very deep impression. It shows a true love between sisters beyond money, power, and even the life. Everyone who sees the movie can feel the beautiful love between sisters that can melt every frozen thing in people’s heart.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

 

The historical background is The Second World War. While England was attacked, four children had to go on evacuation to professor Diggory’s countryside house. During they stay in there, the youngest girl, Lucy finds the world of a wardrobe. The world is the Narnia. In Narnia, She meets a guy who has lower body of a goat and has that name is Tomnus. After she meets him, she talks to her brothers about the world behind the wardrobe but they don’t believe her. Edmund goes to Narnia and he meets white witch in there and he cheat on her tricks. Finally, four children go to Narnia and hear about legendary of Narnia. The sons of Adam and daughters of Eve will make to finish winter time and to come spring time. Lucy wants to see Mr. Tommus to her brothers but he already trapped by white witch. Anyway they meet Beaver couple and go to Aslan who makes the army in order to realize the legend. They help to him. Aslan is a great lion and he makes the world, Narnia. On the way to Aslan, Edmund is caught by the white witch. Aslan hear the whole story and he does negotiations with the white witch. The negotiations are death of Aslan in order to give freedom to Edmund. Aslan is killed by the white witch. The War starts and when the moment become to lose because too many Enemies. Aslan come back to alive and he kills the white witch. After the War, children are to be great kings and queens. They have made a golden time of Narnia but they grown up, they go back to their real world. In real world, time just takes 5 minutes.  

 

I want to evaluate it best movie. I love a computer graphic of this movie. I think Mr. Tomnus seems like a centaur. Effect music was good and actors' makeup, costumes were perfect. I want really to reccomend this film.  It stimulated a child's mind to adults. I love fantasy stories because it makes me to fancy. It is great to children in order to they have many imagination about fantasy story like the world behind wardroves. I heard novel-writer of this film was very truthful in protestantism belief. So I thought that Aslan is similar with Jesus. But except that religious, this is a masterpiece.

 

 

Stalingrad

      The movie is about the Stalingrad, which was the most brutal of the battle of world war II. In the film, several main characters have been depicted detailed. The director describes their environment with the thick ink, at the same time through the  description of each and every one’s behavior and psychological, depicts every vivid characters, and each person has a different personality. This is a war movie, but not about the war in isolation. Both the red army soldier named Gromov and the German officer named Peter Kahn have experienced a poignant love. Finally ending up with the catastrophe of a tragedy, but it shows the light of humanity and the power of love.  

      The Stalingrad is not only in the story, visual, character and human aspects and so on all has done the effect of shock, authentic, moving, but also through depicts a group of children have ambition of blood, put the ideas and values of the anti-fascist in the film very clever. The movie has considered the cruelty of war and the great human nature, let people see a vast, thick and historic war movie.

Under the Tuscan Sun

As the dialogue says, “If you smash into something good, you should hold on until it's time to let go”. So , it's not all about hold on, but let go. It’s a coincidence for Frances, who is the heroine in the film, to go to Tuscan town. She was a writer, but got a divorce, which makes her gaunt. Her life was a mess, but her life got a change after her good friend arranged a travel to go to Tuscan. She was more and more relax and enjoy the life in Tuscan, that she bought a house in the town. All the things were contrary to expectation. Something that novelty happened every day in her new life. Frances enjoyed her life, like fallen in love and made friends with foreign people. She spruced up her house with her friends. Everything was getting better. Also, her life was busy by much thing, and she escaped from despair little by little. In fact, everyone has despairing time in real life, including divorce, death, and betray. We spend time into crying and getting sorrow and could not come out of the dark days. We hide in a corner where belong to ourselves.  Life is full of grey color. But, just like a saying” Life offers you a thousand chances, all you have to do is take one.” we could not do anything but bestir yourself. The truth of life is lying, but you can choose something you like if you are willing to. Being together with joyful and happiness, you would find another world the is full with colorful. We could not change something out of ability.  We should accept the dark thing firstly. And then, being bravely,  everyone deserved  a better life

Jason Statham is my favorite British actor. As we all know, he is the one who can represent tough guy spirit. Nevertheless, his performance shows a little different in The Mechanic compared to his classical movie styles. The whole film describes a killer who pretends to be an ordinary machinist whose name was Arthur. During the day, he does his job like most of the mechanists. In the certain moment, he will receive several extreme difficult tasks of assassinating someone.

The main character of this film is the sequences of epitasis and the theatricality of ending. An interesting thing in this film is that Arthur can always successfully pretend someone’s death. Besides that, the interlude songs in this film are worth to listen. I strongly recommend this movie owing to Jason Statham’s excellent performance.

the Groundhog Day

The Groundhog Day is a romance as well as a comedy. It mainly tells a story of the hero, a weather forecast man called Phil, who has an astounding experience of living in the same day: the Goundhog Day. All of it happens in a small town named Punsutawney where is renowned for groundhog’s prediction of spring. In the whole story, great change has been made by Phil from a selfish person to a helpful person.

In the façade, it’s a romance undoubtedly because it tells how the two main characters- Phil and Rita, finally become lovers. However, the film tells us more than that. It also teaches us a lesson on the philosophy of life.

 At the beginning of the film, as we can see, the hero Phil is an arrogant, selfish man who treats others ignorantly and rudely. He has no friends and nobody likes him. The accident comes accompanying his arrival in the town to report the Groundhog Day’s ceremony that his life lingers at the date of Feb.2rd. He goes through always the same day and the things he meets are unchanged. At first, it is wonderful for him because he can know what will happen tomorrow and do whatever he wants for no need to pay for his disobeying of common rules. However, he feels tired of such kind of life soon and is overwhelmed by this monotonous mode. Then he wants to end the tragic life by resorting to suicide. But whatever ways he tries to end life, everything will come back to its regular form the next day. At this time, the film’s conflicts come out. One is the outer conflict that Phil wants to jump out the repeating Groundhog Day but fails. Another is the inner conflict that he begins to desire a meaningful life but finds himself lost in self-centered world all the time. The turning point comes when Phil set out to think who he is and how to live a meaningful life. Actually, Phil is not only the imaginary character in film but he can also be the person in reality, even the reflection of us. Under many occasions, we people do things only in the consideration of ourselves. We seldom care about what others think and feel. We look for things that can meet our own needs but feel increasing emptiness. How can we escape this emptiness? I think the film has given a sound answer. In the motivation of fleeing from the repeating day and living meaningfully, Phil learns to care others and love others, thus achieving the growth. He overcomes the shadow in the film which is right his self-center.、
