Last week I saw a movie called Bicentennial Man, which gave me a deep impression. At first, I thought it was just an ordinary fiction film as most fiction movies. However, I came to conclude that it is more likely to be defined as a Romantic movie rather than a fiction movie. In fact, I consider it as one of excellent adaptations of Isaac Asimov’s novel.

The robot in this movie called Andrew Martin, acted by Robin Williams, who is a famous comedy actor in the United States. There are several reasons for Andrew to be special. The first thing is that he is emotional and full of creativity, which made him loved by the little girl. Besides that, he tends to make money to support himself. Meanwhile, he owned dignity and never give up pursuing freedom. Last but not least, Andrew also eager for being loved and loving others.

At the end of this movie, he chose to die just to prove he was capable of loving the little girl and taking good care of her. He totally understood the meaning of love. To be honest, I appreciate the personality of Andrew shown in this film. Moreover, I hope everyone is supposed to follow his or her heart and never give up especially when you are confronted with difficulties.
