The Emperor’s New
Groove (2000)
The ruthless, greedy, and selfish emperor,
Kuzco, treated his servants badly. He was a tyrant. He was mean to everyone. Yzma
and Kronk, one of his close servants, were in danger of being fired. They
planned to kill Kuzco and get the emperorship. They used poison to kill him but
he turned into a llama. He was accidently thrown to Pacha’s carrier while Kronk’s
hesitation. Actually, Kuzco was supposed to build his special house on the Pacha’s
hill, destroying his residence. And Kuzco’s tough journey back to palace
started with the man whom he was supposed to cast out.
I like the way the story are developed. It
started with the scene that Kuzco was speaking at the shape of llama in the rain
poorly. Then, it showed his past. How was he in that situation? It made me
curious. In addition, character of Kronk made the movie richer. His monologue
with his shoulder angel and devil was hilarious. And his behavior like dumb,
specially didn’t understand Yzma, also great jokes. Moreover, it was
entertaining graphics. Though it doesn’t have detail graphics like Toy story 3,
it described their motions very well.
It was specially organized, got proper
humor, and showed great graphics. I want to give 4 star to this movie. It was
great. But you should think about this is somewhat traditional storyline. If
you don’t care about it, go and get it.
