I believe that i am a big fan of musical movies. since i was a little, the first movie that i have seen in musical style is the "the sound of music". I have to say that this is a great movie and I love it.
the back ground of this movie is pretty interesting. A captain are hiring a "sister" to be the governess of his children. the more interesting things is the captain has 11 kids. the oldest is 16 years old and the youngest is 4 years old. what a big family! unfortunately the hostess of this family was passed a way. It is a big tragic things that happened in this household. After the captain's wife passed away. the captain treat his children as solder. he has set many role for their children and children can not obey it. This decision make this family start living without music and love. The captain are too busy, so he do not have much time to take care of his children. But the children have to be educated, so the captain are hiring some governess for them. However the children are not happy about this, so children always do some trick to the governess. As result many governess in that town are not willing to teach captain's children. Accidentally a girl who named maria are get this tough job. unlike the other governess who just want to teach children to read or do something that they do not want to. Maria are teaching them how to sing a song, and leading them to discover the beauty of life, moreover is how to love and being love. Eventually the maria is falls love with this lovely family and the host of this family, the captain.
the story of this movie is beautiful and also the song that have been sung in this movie. << the sound of music>>, <<do la mi>> and so on. many song in this movie are still playing in many place, and people love it.
all in all, this is a great musical movie, and worth to watch. I would like to give 5 point for this movie, because i love it too.
