Overview of “Leon: The Professional”:
Leon is a professional killer. One day Mathilda
knocked Leon’s door, and she hided in Leon’s apartment to elude bad polices. Mathida required Leon to teach her shooting.
During the period of they live together, Mathida brought warmth to Leon;
Mathida found feeling in love with Leon. One day, Mathida decided to revenge by
herself, and she got into the trap. Leon went to police office to save Mathida
and brought her back to his apartment. In the end, Leon died with a police who
killed Mathida’s family.
Review of “Leon: The Professional”:
Leon is a grim, clever, and silent men, also he is a
honest and naive men. Mathida is a isolated, obstinate, and willful 12 years
old girl. However, Leon looks like a child in comparison with Mathida, and
Mathida brighten Leon’s life.
Mathilda:Leon, I think I'm
kina falling in love with you.
(Leon chokes on his milk)
Mathida: It's the first time for me, you know?
Léon: (wiping himself off)How do you know it's
love if you've never been in love before?
Mathilda: 'Cause I feel it.
Léon: Where?
Mathilda: (stoking her
stomach) In my stomach. It's all warm. I always had a knot there and now...
it's gone.
Léon: Mathilda, I'm glad you don't have a
stomach ache any more. I don't think it means anything.
Maybe this is the feeling of love inside of Mathida, but I think their
relationship more approach to family affection, friendship, and they stay
together to warm each other.
