The Hunger Game: Catching Fire
Catching Fire is the second film based on
the novel The Hunger Game. This film talks about the later things happening
after 74th The Hunger Games, which both Katniss and Peeta are the
winners. After they got the triumph, Katniss became a symbol of mockingjay
which is a spiritual leader of the rebellion. This result is what President
Snow doesn’t want to see. He demands that Katniss and Peeta need to be a symbol
of love but not the rebellion. In order to destroy Katniss and Peeta, President
Snow organizes the 75th The Hunger Game and all the participants are
those people who won the game before and are promised that their last life
would in peace. President Snow eats his words. As a result, half of the
participants of The Hunger Games become an ally which helps Katniss to survive.
Compare with the first film The Hunger
Games, the second film Catching Fire forces more on the friendship and the
rebellion. Not like the first film, all the participants are killing others,
the second film show the love and the same wish among the participants. The
fiction and action are as excellent as the first one. Also, Jennifer Lawrence
done a good job in her portrayal of Katniss. I love this film more than the
first one.
