The Hunger Games

I do love The Hunger Games. It is a movie, which is adapted from the novel. This novel has been developed into a series of films and The Hunger Game is the first one.

This film talks about a television show called The Hunger Games in Panem, a country consist of rich capital and 12 poor districts. The 12 districts need to pick 2 people, including one boy one girl, to do The Hunger Games in which the 24 participants will only have one survive and win the prize. The winner will win a large amount of money, which can ensure a good life in Panem. Katniss   volunteers for The Hunger Game after her little sister was picked up to be the participant. And she has done a series of things in the game for surviving.

This is a fiction and action movie which is well cast and well acted. Jennifer Lawrence’s portrayal as Katniss is excellent. But I think this film is a little dark for children and teenagers because it contains a lot of violence. But it is still a great movie, I love it.
