The genre of this movie is romantic comedy that focuses on some situations men and women can experience when they are in love. The setting of the movie is in Baltimore, and the story is about five women and four men's love. Women dream their perfect love in their lives, but nobody knows what men are thinking about women. One of interesting things in the movie is that the movie describes a reality about men and women's love.
In this movie, one of the women Gigi thinks every man she meets is her Mr.Right. One day, she meets a man, and she imagines he likes her waiting for his contact. However, she never receives any contact from him. One of the couples in the movie is Neil and Beth, who have lived together for seven years, but he never told her to get married. She realizes he does not want to marry her, and she does not understand why he lives with her for a long time although he does not want to get married. Likewise, lots of interesting stories happen in this movie.
While I was watching this movie, I could know why people like this movie. It was because there are some scenes that make people sympathy with both sides of men and women. Sometimes, a woman imagine a man likes her because he makes her misunderstood by treating her kindly, holding her hand, and so on. However, these are different from what she thinks. I think especially this movie may be popular among couples because they can sympathy with the movie that shows some scenes the couples might experience in their lives.
This movie is also famous because of some words that make people realize about men and women. One of them is "A wise person once told me that if a guy wants to be with a girl, he will make it happen, no matter what" (Gigi 2009). When I heard these words, I could know a little about men. After that, when my friend had a secret crush on someone, I actually advised her to say the words.
In conclusion, this movie is the story about the characters showing realistic love story. I want to recommend this movie to watch because I think this movie can be rated as 5 stars
