Pulp fiction (1994)

Pulp fiction (1994)

In one restaurant, there was a bad couple. They were supposed to steal money from that restaurant. They didn’t know there were Vincent and Jules who were real gang. When Vincent was in toilet, the couple started their work. They threatened the other guests. Jules felt annoyed and thought about killing him. But he was changed man. He tried to persuade the couple with conversation without casualty because he felt to experience God in his crisis. He didn’t want to be a bad guy anymore. And this movie show how Jules was changed.

Actually, it wasn’t the story about how Jules wanted to be a changed man. Complicated story was developed there. It’s about whole story around him. Vincent, his partner, Marsellus, his boss, Butch, who had debt to his boss, was all protagonist of this movie. It’s about whole gang and related to them. Because this movie has very unique organization, it’s possible to contain various stories. It seemed to gathers puzzle pieces together.

It’s really impressive to work out puzzle of story pieces. It made tension and concentration. I think it one of the most attractive things in Pulp fiction. Also, casting was very impressive. John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson, Bruce Willis, and Ving Rhames were there. What an enormous casting! I feel closer to this movie when I saw them. In addition, I could experience the early American gangster life. It didn’t describe the heroic gangster but a real gangster. I was totally impressed by its unique story organization, huge casting, and interesting story. I want to give it five stars.
