The movie “World War Z” has both zombie movie’s characteristics and disaster movie’s plots. There are 3 characters in zombie movie. The first one is there are countless zombies. In this movie, zombies are spread all over the world, the USA, South Korea, Israel and the U.K. The second characteristic is that they are very aggressive to human. In the World War Z, zombies destroy cities and bite people and make people zombie, like them. The final characteristic is they never die just simple attack. In order to make them die, there is needed special attack, such as fire them or shot their heart exactly. In this movie, zombie’s never die unless they are attacked their brain. There is the different feature from custom zombie movie. In custom zombie movie, zombies are very slow and nasty appearance. However, in World War Z, zombies’ action is very dynamic. They are very fast. Even their visual is very scary.

 

This movie also has disaster movie’s plots. There are several stereotype steps at disaster genre. First, disaster occurs when peaceful situation. Then main characters escaped the dangerous situation. Next, main characters struggle to solve the disaster. Finally they find the solution and save the world. In this movie, the disaster (zombie) occurs when peaceful afternoon. In this movie, jerry also drove downtown with his family. But soon, countless zombies rushed to the citizens. Many citizens died and became zombie. Jerry was attacked zombies also, but, he escaped the zombies and rescued his family. At that time, UN invited jerry and require him help solve the zombie problem because jerry had been one of UN agent. So jerry leaved to find solution and finally he found the solution and saved the world.
