Percy Jackson and Sea of Monsters

The Percy Jackson series are about demigods' adventures. Percy is the son of Poseidon. Its motif stems from Greek mythology. He and his friends fight against enemies threatening Olympus and where demigods live. To compass his purpose, he bumped into many difficulties. Also, he doubted his ability, thinking that he was lucky.
However, he made a step forward, thanks to his friends. The story of this movie is similar to many heroes' stories of Greek mythology and this makes a movie of several stories in books. However, there are differences from the ordinary Greek mythologies in some ways, compared with this movie. First, he could keep on his end up thanks to his friends. It might not possible to obtain the gold sheepskin if it were not for his friends. Second, since the background is modern times, this movie is accompanied by many imagination to applied to the real world, such as flying car and a cow made of kind of metal.
When it comes to vivid scenes, all the scenes seem both different and yet similar with the reality. For example of something happening unrealistically in the reality, but happening.  For example, three women who share one eye because they have no eyes drove their taxi at the expense of monetary thing. On the one hand, it looks like the scene of myth. On the other hand, this movie shows real thing
.One impressive thing is that Percy acted up to his belief. For example, he makes much of his friends and what he believe, which means he does not live by others or other people's words. Unlike today's people, he believes what he do and  himself.

I think that this movie would be fascinating to people who like fantasy and adventure genre of the film. because the story is not sensational, it is good for people of any age to watch.  I would give this movie 4 stars in that it is really reminiscent of Greeth mythology I read and and also has diffences from Greeth heroes' stories I read because of the background of modern society.
