Tangled(2010)
A beautiful princess was born with powerful
gold flower which had a special power to cure. She got special healing power in
her hair. Gothel, the witch who want that special power to keep herself young,
kidnapped the baby. Gothel take the baby to the secret tower that hard to find
and use the baby’s hair to stay young. The king and queen of the princess tried
to find her but they couldn’t. One day, a handsome thief accidentally found the
tower and met Rapunjel. And they went to journey to feel the new world.
First of all, what I really
impressed about is music. It’s not just a traditional animation. It had many
music like a musical. I still remember one scene with a song. When the hot air-balloons
came up with the song, “I see the light”, it was really beautiful. Another
excitement in this movie was Maximus, the white horse. Maximus acted like dog.
He sniffed grass, traced the thieves. He is cute and make movie funny. For example,
he traced Ujin(Flynn rider) consistently like dog and fought with general’s
sword against Ujin’s fry pan. Third, I like this well-organized story. It’s
kind of childish and fantasy, but it’s hopeful and romantic. Though I understand
that story is not realistic, sometimes I imagine how exciting it is to live
like that.
I think it was one of the best
animation and give them four stars. The great songs, humorous character, and
well-organized story make Tangled shine.
