Truman who is the main character lives in a humdrum life. He works in an insurance company and he married well. But, in fact, his routine with ease was a made-up by a director. The director has managed Truman’s life for 30 years, and his life was on the air without his notice.

Not only all of his life is made by him, but also his family and acquaintances are just actors. His father’s death was a part of scenario and his wife also was arranged beforehand. And his real love who gave him a suggestion about his controlled life was blocked by the director. After he knew that his life was controlled by someone, he decided to escape from the scenario.

 

 

 

This subject matter is so novel that it makes me look back on my life. I imagined that my uneventful daily has been managed by someone. It seems to me that all life is controlled by someone or something. For example, our decision in life might be limited by parents or by financial circumstance.

 But I think that we have to have the courage of our convictions. The life allowed is entirely ours. So, we need courage to confront the change and danger for our real life, because, anyhow, our life is only one. Although we have to dare the danger, to change the common is much better than to live like the former Truman who was managed by something as before. Don’t fit oneself in life, and just live your independent life which you can hold your responsibility.
